Select Floors & Tiles Ltd., is a wood flooring business with a difference. Peter Walsh, the owner, has been involved in wood and furniture for over 40 years. His in-depth knowledge, starting in cabinet making, to manufacturing, to distribution of wood flooring and now retail, benefits you, the consumer directly. Knowing the in’s and out’s of wood from its sourcing, through all processes, directly to the installation in your home, Peter has the expertise and an unequalled attention to detail to make your choice in floor as easy as possible.

Peter Walsh, is a strong advocate for shopping locally, and purchasing locally. Which is why 95% of our products are sourced directly through Irish distributors.
Family owned and Family-Run Business
Select Floors & Tiles Ltd., is run by both Peter and his youngest daughter Aoife. Aoife has worked on and off within the business since 2007, but has become a full-time staff member of the company since 2018.
Fully Guaranteed Fitting Service
We provide a fully guaranteed fitting service on all laminate, vinyl, timber and sliding wardrobes. With a combined number of over 125 years of fitting between them, our experienced fitters have an unrivalled work quality and ethic.

We are conscious retailers, and so supply FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified products, and equally support the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification).

Our Showroom
Since its opening, the showroom has continued to develop and broaden throughout the years with the same work ethic and ethos that Peter and his team began with. Based on the Tramore Road in Cork, Select Floors & Tiles Ltd., has a vast selection of natural timber flooring, laminate, vinyl, tiles and bespoke sliding robes.
In natural timber flooring, we have an extensive range of world and exotic solid, engineered solids and semi solid flooring, in linear planks, herringbone, chevron and bespoke panels. We also supply and fit exclusive ranges that can be custom-made to personal colour and dimension requirements. More importantly, we ensure to work with FSC certified timber sourced from sustainable forests.
